Phoenixville Community Education Foundation (PCEF), takes your privacy very seriously and places a high priority on protecting your privacy.  This policy explains what types of information is collected by PCEF’s website, and how this information is used.

Individuals who sign up on our website to receive PCEF emails, who contact us through our website, or who make a donation online, voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name, e-mail address, street address). We may use this information for specific, limited purposes, such as periodically sending email newsletters.  You may opt-out of our emails at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in the email, in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act.

  • Change/correct any data we have about you.
  • Have us delete any data we have about you.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site.  We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you.

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ or any individuals’ names or personal information with any other outside entity, nor send mailings to anyone on behalf of other organizations not affiliated with PCEF.

We use a third-party service provider to securely process all of our donation transactions.  This service provider does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond processing your donation.

How we secure your data

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via our website, your information is protected both online and offline.

We use a third-party payment service to process your online donations. Your credit card data is encrypted and transmitted securely to the payment service for processing.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.


We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. Cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
